The nonprofit version is one of 5 industries within Enterprise. Choose Nonprofit during the installation process to get this version installed. This is an annual subscription product line that is available in three levels: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Enterprise is still a desktop version of QuickBooks to download and install to your computer or server. Choose this version if:

Need more simultaneous users (up to 30)
Want to set up users and permissions, Enterprise has 115 different activities to limit access and keep sensitive information secure
Have need for advanced reporting options
Enterprise has much larger database limits which can hold up to 100,000 customer, vendor, employee, or item names.
